The Science of Microcurrent

The Science of Microcurrent

Technology Based on Nobel Prize Winning Science

Microcurrent Therapy is not new science, it has been around for decades. In fact, in one physicians’ survey of 500 patients, 90.91 percent of 286 pain patients were observed to have significant improvement.

The Electro-Equiscope delivers more than microcurrent.  In 1991, a Nobel prize was awarded for research showing that ion channels, located in all cells and some organelles, function at a pico-ampere, which is a trillionth of an amp. Pico amp range (not milli- or micro-current) actually increases the capacitance and health of the cell.
This research also found that ion channels only accept certain frequencies.  Here is a deeper dive into how that works.

In addition to delivering more effective charge for the body, Equiscope is smart. It is a closed loop frequency control system. Similar to a missile guidance system, it continually scans the body, monitoring the bioimpedance and correcting it per the value of the changing quantities of the molecular structure of the injured or degenerative tissue at the cellular level, helping perfect cell membrane potential in milliseconds.

This ongoing, two-way, communication is what we call Mutual Excitation and Instantaneous Rate of Exchange.

Bioimpedance Monitoring for Physicians

Electrical Bioimpedance Monitoring is an emerging tool for biomedical research and for medical practice. It constitutes one of the diagnostic methods based on the study of the passive electrical properties1 of the biological tissues. These properties have been object of study since Luigi Galvani (1737-1789) discovered that while an assistant was touching the sciatic nerve of a frog with a metal scalpel, the frog's muscle moved when he drew electric arcs on a nearby electrostatic machine. However, it was not until the end of XIX (McAdams et Jossinet, 1995) that these properties started to be measured thanks to the development of new instrumentation and the set up of the electromagnetic field theory by James Clerk Maxwell (1831-1879).

What is Impedance?

Here are few more examples on the subject of impedance looking at it from a different viewing angle. As a rule impedance always represents a ratio of a force or other physical imposition capable of power delivery, to the reaction that such imposition can sustain, where the reaction is defined such that the product of the imposition and sustained reaction has the units of energy per unit time, or power.

The Phase Lock Loop (PLL)

PLL stands for ‘Phase-Locked Loop’ and is basically a closed loop frequency control system, which functioning is based on the phase sensitive detection of phase difference between the input and output signals of the controlled oscillator.

 Equiscope Therapy Results

With practitioners across North America, the Electro-Equiscope® has been positively impacting patients of all walks of life. Below are some results of people who have received Equiscope Therapy.

  • Baseball Pitcher-drafted out of high school

Symptom: Severe right elbow pain when pitching for 5 years, multiple MRI no condition found by doctors.

Protocol: 3 sessions, local and direct, Y-Probe and seal

Result: Zero pain pitching at 100% and low 90’s speed.

  • Vietnam Vet– 6 tours

Symptom: Severe neuropathy in both feet, in a wheelchair due to numbness in toes/feet.

Protocol: 14 sessions over 4 days; footplates with lumbar, cervical, and hand cylinders for a significant portion of sessions.

Systemics: bilateral spine 3 times, governing vessel, and headband.

Result: On the second day after the 6-hour session mark, he got up and scooted around with flat feet and good posture, unassisted. He left with full sensation in his feet and good circulation, no wheelchair needed.

  • Ex-military sniper

Symptom: 4 head injuries and TBI in 2 tours, unable to sleep in 2.5 years, tried every therapy, full-body pain, and PTSD.

Protocol: 5 sessions with headband using plates, 2 bilateral spine, 2-foot plates to hand cylinders, and knee plates. *Note: The client remained very alert during all headband sessions and significant impedance feedback.

Result: On arriving for his 2nd session he reported sleeping 8 hours after our 1st session. He proceeded to improve after every session.

  • Symptom: could not write, brush hair, sleep. Dbl CT surgery scheduled

Protocol: 3 sessions before surgery of double hand cylinders

Result: After 2 sessions she was pain-free and cancelled her surgeries.
